Startup Unidos has requested support from Azuli Language Solutions provided live virtual English-Spanish interpretation services during their upcoming Emprende Amigo Youth Entrepreneurship Certification event on July 9 and 10, 2020. Emprende Amigo is a 2-day online certification program for high school students and young adults in Southern Arizona and Northern Mexico interested in developing networking, business and entrepreneurial skills.
Azuli proposes to recruit qualified student interpreters in the Translation & Interpretation Studies program at Pima Community College (PCC), and/or recent graduates from said program, who are strong in simultaneous interpretation and are looking for more “real life” experience to build their resumes and strengthen their skills.
In this way, Startup Unidos, Azuli, and PCC will work together in partnership to provide meaningful workforce development opportunities to students while supporting the innovative programming offered by Startup
Unidos.
